This policy outlines the shipping methods, timelines, and costs associated with purchasing Original Artworks, Limited Edition Prints, and Merchandise from Noctumbra.art.
1. General Shipping Information
- Origin Location: Shipments are dispatched from the Artist’s studio in Serbia or from our fulfillment partner’s international facilities.
- Shipping Carriers: We primarily use reputable carriers such as DHL, and the standard services used by our fulfillment partner.
- Tracking: Tracking numbers will be provided via email once the order has been processed and shipped.
- Delivery Estimates: Delivery times are estimates only and are calculated from the shipment date, not the order date.
2. Processing and Fulfillment Timelines
- Original Artworks: 3–5 business days. This time allows for professional, secure packaging, arranging specific courier collection, and handling all necessary customs documentation.
- Limited Edition Prints: 5–10 business days.This time allows for printing the order, the Artist’s signing and numbering of the print, and final preparation for dispatch.
- Merchandise (POD): 3–7 business days. Fulfilled directly by our third-party print partner. Production time depends on the specific item and current demand.
3. Estimated Delivery Times
Shipping times are estimates and may vary due to customs clearance and destination.
- Serbia (Domestic): 2–5 business days3–7 business days.
- Europe (EU/EEA): 7–14 business days5–15 business days.
- USA / Canada: 10–21 business days7–20 business days.
- Rest of World:15–30 business days10–25 business days.
Note: Due to the complexities of international shipping, Original Artworks are often shipped using specialized, faster courier services (e.g., DHL Express) for safety, which may reduce the delivery window.
4. Packaging and Safety
- Original Artworks: These are packaged with the highest professional standards, utilizing specialized crates or rigid protective barriers, acid-free materials, and multiple layers of protection to ensure the artwork arrives in pristine condition.
- Limited Edition Prints: Prints are carefully rolled and shipped in sturdy, wide-diameter cardboard tubes or flat rigid envelopes to prevent bending and surface damage.
5. International Customs, Duties, and Taxes (Crucial for Collectors)
- Customs Responsibility: All international customers (outside of Serbia) are solely responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, and any brokerage fees applied by the destination country’s customs office.
- Non-Refundable: These fees are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are non-refundable by the Artist. We are required by law to declare the full value of the artwork on all customs forms.
- Refused Delivery: If a shipment is refused by the buyer due to customs duties, the buyer will be responsible for the original shipping charges, the return shipping charges, and any customs charges incurred during the return process. Any remaining refund will be issued after deducting these costs.
6. Damaged or Lost Shipments
- Damage Claim: If your item arrives damaged, please immediately document the damage (including the packaging) and follow the instructions in our Return & Refund Policy within 48 hours of delivery.
- Lost Shipment: If tracking information shows a delay beyond the estimated delivery time, please contact us. We will assist in opening an investigation with the relevant carrier. Please allow up to 4 weeks from the shipment date before a package is officially considered lost.
