Certificate of Authenticity (COA)
Every original artwork is shipped with a signed and embossed Certificate of Authenticity (COA). This document certifies the artwork’s provenance, title, medium, dimensions, and creation date, serving as the official record of your acquisition.
Care and Preservation
To ensure the longevity of your valuable charcoal or pastel piece, please adhere to the following care guidelines:
- Handling: Always handle the artwork by the edges or wear cotton gloves. Charcoal and pastel surfaces are sensitive.
- Framing: It is highly recommended that the artwork be framed by a professional using archival-quality materials, including:
- Acid-Free Matting: To prevent paper discoloration.
- UV Protective Glass/Acrylic: To minimize fading from sunlight.
- Spacers: To prevent the artwork surface from touching the glass.
- Placement: Never hang the artwork in direct sunlight, near extreme humidity (like bathrooms), or near heat sources. Place it on a stable interior wall.
- Cleaning: Never use liquids to clean the artwork. Dust the frame and glass only.
